Follow these steps to deactivate/deauthorize your Audible account on a computer running iTunes 12.2 or newer:
- Open iTunes.
- Go to Store > Deauthorize Audible Account.

If you do not see the Store option try clicking CTRL + B. iTunes will now display File, Edit, View, Store, etc. On a Mac computer, you should see the Store option on the Menu bar at the top of your screen.
- A pop-up from "User Account Control" will ask you to allow changes to your computer. Click Yes.

- You will be asked to visit the Audible website to complete the deauthorization process. Click Yes.

- Sign into your account if you are prompted to do so. If the sign in screen is asking you for information you don't normally enter (For example if you sign in with a username but are being asked to enter an email address), click sign in here at the bottom of the page.
- Click Click to return.

- In the "Launch Application" window, click Ok with iTunes selected.

- iTunes will reopen and you will receive confirmation that your Audible account has been deactivated from your computer.

If you no longer own the computer you are trying to deauthorize, please contact Customer Service.
